About the Event

We all know that running a business can be isolating at times, so getting together with other people in our industry is invaluable. If you're not already a member of the Children's Activities Association, we'd love for you to come along and meet us all, as well as learn more about the Children's Activities Association's mission and goals for the children's activities sector.

We are thrilled to announce that Jane James, CEO and Founder of "Little Voices," and Sarah Cressall, Founder and MD of "Creation Station" will be hosting another online meeting on behalf of the Children's Activities Association.

This meeting will focus on 'Mindset and Goal Setting' with guest speaker Kerry Lockyer from Oomph Learning & Development Ltd. She will be bringing some colour, quite literally to our session, with a presentation on "Why it’s easier to get along with some people and not others… and what to do about it!"

As someone who’s used many different “colourful” behavioural tools over her career, she’ll be sharing some secrets around the different personality types. So if you’ve ever wondered:

  1. Why we’re naturally drawn to some people over others
  2. Why some people just seem to frustrate the hell out of us
  3. What this could mean for you, your team and anyone else you know

Then join us for some fun and answers to these questions!

This event is free to attend for everyone. The more activity providers we can get together to share ideas the better. So please, help us get the word out to as many activity providers as possible by sharing the event and invitation with your networks and across your social media accounts.

About Kerry:

Kerry is a CIPD L7 qualified Learning and Development  professional, with a 25 year track record delivering exceptional results in a variety of public and private sector organisations.  She is fascinated by people and what makes them tick, which was the focus of her TEDx talk in June 22.

After a very successful career in People Development, Kerry is now the Founding Director of Oomph Learning and Development Ltd, based in Cheshire.

She’s a Licensed Insights Practitioner, Accredited Clarity4D Business Partner and NLP Practitioner and loves to use these powerful tools to help people understand themselves (and each other) on a deeper level, to build more meaningful connections and ultimately to work more effectively together.

She’s also currently the Regional President of the Professional Speaking Association in the North West.

On a personal level, she has a particular passion for working with young people and is proud to support Kriss Akabusi on his Project Mackenzie programme, which improves the outcomes for young people transitioning out of the care system.  She’s also a volunteer mentor for The Girls Network.
